Appointments
Routine appointments
There are several ways to get the medical advice you need. We offer face to face appointments, telephonic consultations and advice via an online consultation (Accurx).
The practice operates a ‘duty doctor’ system to ensure we always have adequate capacity to deal with patients who are acutely unwell and require medical attention the same day.
Appointments are available throughout the day during our opening hours and can be booked online, by telephone or in-person at the reception. Please select one of the below appointment types, to get the best suited help on time.
Urgent Appointments
The practice operates a ‘duty doctor’ system to ensure we always have adequate capacity to deal with patients who are acutely unwell and require medical attention the same day. These appointments cannot be booked online. Please call our reception team during normal opening hours.
Save the call to the surgery and make the best use of pharmacy and online consultations, if your concern is of a non-urgent nature.

Cancelling your appointment
Please make every effort to keep your appointment. If you are unable to make it, please cancel it as soon as possible, using one of the methods below, so that it can be reallocated to another patient in need. Your help will avoid a significant waste of NHS resources and is much appreciated.
Alternatively, you can follow the instructions on your appointment reminder text and reply, to cancel an appointment.

Home Visits
Home visits are available to those who are housebound or terminally ill.
If you require an urgent home visit, please try to call the practice before 10:00. It is helpful if you can indicate the nature and urgency of your call to the receptionist.
Where it is not possible for a patient to come to the surgery and where they require a face-to-face consultation we can arrange a visit from one of our doctors. In order to arrange a visit, please send an eConsult or call the surgery if there is an urgent problem or you, or the person you are caring for, are not able to use the eConsult service.
