Dr Knight is experimenting with a 'telephone first system' which is proving very popular. If you would like an appointment with Dr Knight please telephone the surgery and speak to one of the receptionists. Dr Knight will then phone you back (usually within the hour). If appropriate, he will provide a telephone consultation but should he need to see you face-to-face he will normally be able to see you on the day.
As part of the trial, telephone consultations are now bookable online. Dr Knight will try to ring you as close as possible to the time you book. Please ensure you indicate which telephone number you wish to be called back on and, if possible, a general statement about what you need to discuss.
To use EMIS access you will need a Practice ID number and Access ID number which is obtained from the practice, and, in conjunction with a password, will be unique to you. Once registered you wil be able to order repeat medication, send messages to the surgery, book some appointments and view parts of your medical record. All online!
To make life really easy, once you have ordered a repeat prescription we can send it electronically to any pharmacy of your choosing. Then you only have to make one journey- straight to the pharmacy to pick up your medicines. All you need to do is ask your pharamist to set the system up for you or tell the surgery which pharmacy you want us to deal with. Typically it takes a few hours between us sending an order and the pharmacist recieving it!!

We recommend you order 48 hours in advance of when you think you might be running out.
